An Elevated Experience

“The opportunities at UGA are pretty endless. Every time I meet someone here, I learn about new sections of campus, new majors, and new collaborations.”

Investing in Who Comes Next

The University of Georgia has launched a landmark scholarship campaign to expand access to the benefits of a UGA education. Supported by more than $20 million in matching funds from the UGA Foundation, the initiative will bolster support for students through need-based, merit-based, graduate and professional, and experiential learning scholarships across every school and college.

With an initial fundraising target of $75 million and a long-term vision of exceeding $600 million, the campaign reflects our investment in student potential and academic success. Fueled by the generosity of alumni and friends, this effort seeks to ensure that financial circumstances do not impede talent or ambition.

Beyond the Script

Students and faculty often use the Main Library as a place to connect and exchange ideas.

Some achievements don’t fit neatly into a transcript. The Office of Instruction launched a Comprehensive Learner Record to capture the fuller picture of a student’s development, including co-curricular learning, professional skills, and leadership roles. Marisa Anne Pagnattaro, vice president for instruction and senior vice provost for academic planning, says that by helping students recognize and articulate what they’ve learned, they gain a powerful advantage in the job market and can better communicate the depth of their preparation to graduate programs and employers. The introduction of the innovative CLR reflects UGA’s broader commitment to recognizing the ways students grow, contribute, and lead.

Managing Momentum

Andy Borst — Vice Provost for Enrollment Management

UGA enrolls thousands of new students each fall, and Andy Borst helps the university understand who those students are — their intended majors, interests, and needs — so academic leaders can ensure they have the courses, advisors, classrooms, and other resources to support their success. Working across campus, from the Office of Instruction and Division of Student Affairs to the Facilities Management Division, Borst interprets data and provides insights that help shape decisions on everything from academic advising needs to classroom space demands, creating conditions for success at UGA and beyond.

Teaching the Tools of Tomorrow

The Participatory, Interdisciplinary eXperience, and Learning Lab is one of the many areas on campus where researchers train with AI to enhance educational and health-related outcomes.

UGA is giving students the tools to master AI and help shape its future. The University is investing $800,000 in a pilot program that will provide thousands of student licenses for leading AI platforms. Through experience with these technologies, students will graduate ready to use them from day one.

Bulldogs Take the Lead

At the University of Georgia, championships are not a moment. They are a standard.

This year, UGA strengthened its place among the nation’s premier athletics programs, with the Bulldogs rising to the biggest stages across multiple sports. UGA was one of only two schools to earn bids to the men’s and women’s NCAA basketball tournaments, the College Football Playoff, and the College World Series, where Georgia baseball made its first appearance since 2008. UGA also became the first school since 2011 to win SEC titles in both football and baseball in the same academic year.

The women’s track and field team celebrated its third straight national title (2025 outdoor, 2026 indoor, and 2026 outdoor).

The women’s track and field team carried that championship pace even further, sweeping the indoor and outdoor national titles in a season defined by depth, speed, and competitive resolve. Indoors, the Bulldogs delivered across events to capture their second national team championship. Outdoors, the Bulldogs returned to the national stage and defended the title, completing a remarkable sweep and closing the year as the nation’s best.

Across sports, seasons, and championship stages, UGA did more than compete. The Bulldogs took the lead.
