Serving on the UGA Foundation Board of Trustees is an honor and privilege, and Trustees are some of the University of Georgia’s most devoted advocates. Because their loyalty doesn’t expire with their term, many choose to remain engaged. This year, an ad hoc committee comprised of several Emeriti Trustees launched initiatives to further engage this group, including a quarterly program in Atlanta to learn more about UGA research and accomplishments. In addition, the ad hoc committee identified four key areas of focus: the UGA Mentor Program, Gift and Estate Planning, the Innovation District, and the Honors Program.
