George Azih is founder and CEO of LeaseQuery, the accounting software company that landed at No. 1 on the 2020 Bulldog 100 list of fastest-growing alumni-owned businesses. He attributes his achievements to the foundation he received at UGA from faculty members like the late Dan Smith. In 2020, Azih made a significant pledge to the Dan Smith Support Fund, which is dedicated to faculty support with the goal of endowing a chair in honor of Smith. Despite challenging times, Azih remains as committed as ever to his alma mater.
