I AM FOREVER GRATEFUL FOR THE OPPORTUNITY TO SERVE THE UNIVERSITY AND THE STUDENT BODY AND FOR THE WAYS IN WHICH IT HAS CHALLENGED ME TO LISTEN MORE, TO THINK MORE CRITICALLY, AND TO WORK HARDER.

Rachel Byers’ time at the University of Georgia has been defined by growth and service. Byers, who is now attending UGA’s School of Law, researched rural broadband expansion through the Honors Policy Scholars Seminar and served in several student leadership roles, including as SGA president.
