Inspired to Give Back

From mentorship with Bulldog alumni to once-in-a-lifetime opportunities as an Honors student at the Oxford House in England and Delta Hall in Washington, D.C., UGA offered Brennan Cox opportunities to make the most of his college experience. And thanks to donor support, Brennan earned a graduate assistantship as he now pursues a degree in the School of Law.

The support Brennan received has fueled his drive to help others have their best experience. As president of the UGA Interfraternity Council, Brennan helped establish two Georgia Commitment Scholarships and bolstered the Patrick Mell Scholarship, which supports third- and fourth-year students demonstratingleadership in their fraternities and on campus.

It is humbling to consider how much this University, along with its faculty, staff, and alumni, have invested in me. The University’s donors have opened doors I did not know existed and inspired me to give back my own time, energies, and tools to our community.
