Doug Ivester
BBA ’69Doug Ivester, the former Coca-Cola CEO, has established Georgia Commitment Scholarships to support students from Hall County. He and his wife, Kay, also continue to be strong supporters of UGA’s Terry College of Business. Beyond their generous $7 million gift to the college, they invite students every fall and spring to be a part of the Deer Run Fellows Program, which includes a weekend of learning and team building at their home in southwest Georgia.
To this day I still credit my UGA professor for connecting me to my first job opportunity. I worked hard while at the University of Georgia, and my professors invested in me. It was a recipe for success, and I want to continue that legacy for others.
