Michelle Cook plans and implements programs that span units across campus while also providing strategic leadership to the Office of Institutional Diversity. She works with campus partners to support institutional initiatives such as textbook affordability and the New Approaches to Promote Diversity and Inclusion grants program. She also is co-facilitating the development of the University’s 2025 Strategic Plan.
The efforts to ensure that UGA is welcoming and inclusive for everyone require that we are intentional about providing access, supporting success, and promoting the engagement of students who may not consider UGA to be a viable collegiate option. Donor support is critical to building a learning environment that enables us to do these things.
