Craig and Diana Barrow are committed to supporting research and education at the historic Wormsloe estate.
The Barrow family established the Wormsloe Foundation in 1951 to promote education, research, and conservation. Then in 2013, the Savannah family gave 15 acres of their Isle of Hope estate to become the Center for Research and Education at Wormsloe (CREW), offering academic opportunities to students and faculty. New investments in the experiential learning facility at CREW will provide additional interdisciplinary research and hands-on learning opportunities.
Securing the future of Wormsloe is a driving force in our lives. UGA shares that value, and our great partnership protects this rich, unique environment and uses it to benefit UGA’s incredible students and the entire state of Georgia. In this and all our giving to the University, I feel that we have received so much more than we have given.
